This page speaks for itself to a degree, but then there is the question what is a landscape?
For some this would purely be wide angle shots of country vistas, but with our changing, not always for the better, society then personally what some people will refer to as "city scapes" are included.
The rule of thirds is generally accepted to be the way to compose an image, with the use of lead in lines and points of focus, but sometimes rules are made to be broken, and some of the best images twist them slightly to create the overall scene and feel.
